The workshop welcome papers on 'Turks in Nothern Africa'. We also particularly welcome papers with an interdisciplinary perspective. If you think that the topic of your paper is related but does not address any of the following questions, you are welcome to add a paragraph of explanation.

How and When Turks came to Northern African region?

Did they immigrate to Turkey or any other country? Did they stay in the region?

Did they take any role for nation state building during first world war?

Where do they live in now?

Are they legally recognized?

Could they protect their identities and keep on their conventional life style?

What are political, economic, social implications of Turkic societies presence in the Northern African countries?

           To participate please send your abstracts to before 14 February 2020.

An abstract summarizes, usually in one paragraph of 500 words or less, the major aspects of the entire paper in a prescribed sequence that includes:

1) the overall purpose of the study and the research problem(s) you investigated;

2) the basic design of the study;

3) major findings or trends found as a result of your analysis; and,

4) a brief summary of your interpretations and conclusions.
